(offered by Danielle Yard LMT and Peggy Sciro LMT) , Sometimes referred to as barefoot Shiatsu, it is NOT performed on the floor mat through clothing. The therapist supports herself with wooden bars suspended from the ceiling while applying foot pressure on different strategic points along the back and spine.  By working with the body, Ashiatsu can heighten total (physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual) awareness. Treatments typically include stretching, activation or sedation of acupressure points/meridians, and structural alignment techniques. This technique is effective, therapeutic and clients will often feel the work deeply in their muscles, internal organs, and bones. Truly the deepest, most luxuriant massage you will ever have!!

Hot stone massage is a specialty massage. Using Basalt stones, the therapist uses smooth, heated stones that are warmed to a soothing temperature. Placement of these stones on the body releases tension and allows you to slip into a deeper massage while they massage other parts of the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles that will melt your stress away.

Cupping is the application of suction cups to the body.  Suction promotes circulation. Increased circulation reduces swelling, allowing toxins to flow away and nutrients to flow into the area.  It should not hurt and will leave marks in the shape of the cup for up to a week.  This treatment includes cupping in one  area and a full body massage.
